Volume 6 of Richard Dalby’s ‘Mistresses of the Macabre’ series (Edited & Introduced by Richard Dalby). In The Relations and What They Related, which first appeared as a ten-part series in The Lady’s Realm from February to November 1902, embellished with a decorative heading and thirty illustrations by Arthur David McCormick, ten surviving blood-relations gather at Titherleigh Manor, Holycleugh, Cumberland, on 21 December to await the arrival of their wealthy cousin Noah Titherleigh Hobson from Canada, while relating one ‘weird tale’ each in turn. This revised and expanded edition reproduces many of the original illustrations and is limited to 200 sewn hardcover copies.
