This is not a true Ash-Tree Press volume, but it was published in 2004 by Ash-Tree's sister imprint, Calabash Press. The volume was produced in conjunction with The Sherlock Holmes Collections, Department of Special Collections and Rare Books, University of Minnesota Libraries; The Arthur Conan Doyle Society; and The Norwegian Explorers.
The manuscript of Conan Doyle's story 'The Horror of the Heights' forms a part of the University of Minnesota Libraries' Special Collections, and is reproduced in full in this volume, with a full transcription, commentary, and illustrations which accompanied the story's first UK and US publications in The Strand Magazine and Everybody's Magazine.
Very limited quantities remain. Fine in pictorial boards without dj as issued.
